<Raspberry Pi × Smalruby!>
* Introducing our partners’ activities, as shared on the PEG Forum! http://pegpeg.jp/forum
The “Ruby Programming Youth Group” (http://smalruby.jp/), which is active primarily in Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture,
regularly holds workshops using the Raspberry Pi.
Using “Smalruby”—a version of the “Ruby” programming language (developed by Yukihiro Matsumoto, a native of Shimane Prefecture) designed to be accessible even to elementary school students—they work with children to create games and more.
The Ruby Programming Youth Group has shared the textbook they use on the forum.
It provides detailed explanations ranging from how to assemble a Raspberry Pi to an introduction to Ruby and the basics of using Smalruby.
