Today, I’m attending the 1st Biscuit Users Group Conference.
Later on, Kumai from CANVAS will also speak about CANVAS’s programming initiatives to date, including PEG.
The event is also being streamed on UST. If you have time, please be sure to check it out!

In the keynote speech by Professor Kuno of the University of Tsukuba, he also addressed the question, “Why is programming necessary?”
His words—“If we don’t understand the value of professionals, we won’t be able to nurture them. Unless we transform our society into one that recognizes the value of professionals, there is no future”—provided an opportunity to reflect anew on the essential principles that apply regardless of which programming language or environment is used.
Developing an interest in the technology and products around us, and finding opportunities to unravel how they work.
Being able to recognize the ingenuity and trial-and-error efforts of others.
PEG will continue to move forward with even greater determination to create more and more sustainable environments where children can play and learn “through” programming!
