[Report] Kids Creative Lab in Nishi-Azabu

From a CANVAS Facebook post

*******************************************

[July 6 (Sun) Kids Creative Lab in Nishi-Azabu: “A Museum Just for Kids”]
At “A Museum Just for Kids,” we provide a wide variety of materials.
By exploring the unique characteristics of these materials, the children create their own works of art.
Rainbow-colored film can be rolled up to make a snail.
When you tear rubber from the sole of a shoe, it forms mysterious patterns.
Fluorescent acrylic becomes a part of a robot’s mechanism.
Packing foam turns into a jellyfish floating in the air.
A bent plate becomes a little bird that sways gently. Through the
children’s creations, we are made aware of the shapes, weights, and ways light reflects off
these materials.

These are works created through hands-on
experiences—looking closely, touching, trying things out, and sticking things together.
Once again, we’ve produced many wonderful pieces.
