- [Report] Programming Lab in Ochanomizu
From a CANVAS Facebook post
*******************************************
Today, the Programming Lab in Ochanomizu was held at Digital Hollywood University in Ochanomizu.
Using Scratch, a programming language designed for children, the workshop—primarily aimed at beginners—guided participants from “playing” games to “creating” them, culminating in a presentation of their finished projects. There was a game where you could eliminate enemies that chase you by collecting
items; a game where touching a certain part of an enemy makes your character invisible; and a game where you race through a maze while dodging multiple enemies running around—every single one was so entertaining, you’d never guess these were made by first-time programmers!
Next week on Sunday, June 22, the Programming Lab in Roppongi × GREE event will finally take place, with the
theme “Original Controller.” We’ll take on the challenge of creating not just
games, but even the controllers used to play them!
We still have a few spots available!
