本日、７月７日７時に（ちょっと遅れたけどそこはご愛嬌）、約１３年間使い続けたCANVASのウェブサイトとロゴに別れを告げ、CANVASのCIとウェブをリニューアルいたしました。
CANVASのCIデザインは「未来をつくるお道具箱」としました。
事務局全員でコンセプトムービーもつくったので、CIページからぜひご覧頂けると嬉しいです。

みんなの「つくる」を応援するCIとWEB

子どもたちの創造的な学びの場をつくる活動を推進するCANVASは、2002年11月の設立以来、約３５万人の子どもたちに創造・表現の場を提供してまいりました。
これからの多元的で新しい社会を築いていくのは、子どもたちの世代です。
世界中の子どもたちがつながって、新しい表現や、豊かなコミュニケーションを生み出し、新しい世の中を築いていって欲しいと願います。
そのために大人ができることは「場」を作ることだと考えます。
熱い想いをもった大人をつなぎ、全ての子どもたちがフルスイングできる環境を作りたい。
そのような想いから、活動の推進にあたっては、国内外の学校・教育関係者、行政、企業、児童館、博物館、美術館、大学等の研究者、アーティストの皆さまなどとの連携を密とし、子どもたちの創造的な学びの場を提供する運動体として機能す
ることを目指してきました。

この度、これまで以上に子どもたちの取り組みの活性化を願い、CANVAS公式サイト及びＣＩ（コーポレートアイデンティティ）をリニューアル致しました。
CANVASの活動の主役は子どもたちです。
そして、子どもたちの活動を支える、産官学民のおとなたちです。
設立当初から、CANAVSは、その下支え役になりたいと願っていました。
広い運動場を整え、遊び道具を持込、仲間を集め、みんなが楽しく真剣に活躍できるように、気を配る。
そんな役割を果たしたい。新しいCIもみんなの活動に下支えになりたいと考えました。
そこで、CIをオープンソースにし、「みんなにつかってもらうCI」としたいと考えています。
活動を伝えるパンフレット、ウェブサイト、空間づくりをされている方々に、このお道具箱の素材をつかってもらって、楽しみながらデザインして頂きたい。世界中の子どもたちの創造的な活動の盛り上がりに貢献していきたいと願っています。
そして、この道具箱を通じて、たくさんのひとたちがつながり、新たな協働が生まれて欲しいと願っています。

Today, on 7/7 7am, we parted with our former website and logo that we used for approx. 13 years, and finally renewed our CI and website.
The concept of CANVAS’s CI design is “toolbox to create the future”.

CI and website to support the ‘creation’ of everyone.
CANVAS, which promote the activities to produce the creative learning environment for children, have provided the places/opportunities to ‘create and express’ for approximately 350 thousand children since establishment in 2002.
It is the children’s generation that will build our new multifactorial society in the future.
We hope the children in the world will connect with each other, to produce a new medium for self-expression and affluent communication, and build a brand new society.
What we, the adults can do is to produce the ‘place’ of creativity. By connecting passionate adults, I wish to create an environment for every child to exercise their full potentials.
CANVAS has been aiming to work as a moving body to provide children’s creative learning by collaborating with schools at home and abroad, educators, government, corporations, children’s libraries, museums, researchers at universities, artists and so on.

We decided to renew CANVAS’s CI and website in the hope to invigorate children’s activities more than ever.
The leading player of CANVAS’s activities are the children and the adults of industry-government-academia who support the children’s activities.
CANVAS is the underlying supporter.
To arrange a large playground, bring many tools, gather fellows, and pay attention so that everybody will enjoy, get involved, and shine. This is the role CANVAS would like to achieve.

The concept of the CI is also the same. We hope the CI will be used by everyone.
We would like the people, who convey their activities through pamphlets, websites, and spaces, to use our toolbox and have fun
designing. Our hope is to contribute triggering the activities of children all over the world. We also wish that many people will connect and collaborate through this toolbox.

The characteristics and wishes are below.
Characteristic 1: toolbox is the CI.
Characteristic 2: Everything is made up of circles, triangles and squares.
Characteristic 3: Everything is made up of three primary colors, red, blue and yellow.
Wish 1: Unlimited possibilities
