[Report] 202nd Session, Part 1: “Developing Self-Regulation, Creativity, and the Will to Take on Challenges Through Inquiry-Based Learning”

On January 28, 2026, Learning of Tomorrow hosted an online symposium titled “Achievements and Challenges of the ‘Shibuya Future Studies’ Inquiry Program,” featuring Mr. Rintaro Ito, Superintendent of the Shibuya City Board of Education.

In the first half of the symposium, Mr. Ito gave a presentation on the “Shibuya Future Studies” initiative, which allocates 10 percent of the time set aside for academic subjects to inquiry-based learning. In the second half, a question-and-answer session was held, incorporating questions from the audience.

Here’s a look at the first half of the event.
