- Stanford Neurodiversity Project
We'll be taking a campus tour of Stanford Medicine.
The reason is that the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine has a Neurodiversity Project.
A comprehensive initiative that views neurodevelopment as part of human diversity and aims to enhance the innovation and productivity of society as a whole by identifying individuals’ strengths and harnessing their talents.
So, what am I doing? Well,
・Education and awareness-raising to promote understanding of neurodiversity
・Comprehensive student support covering academics, daily life, and career placement
・Research and development of best practices in education and the workplace
・Hosting the annual Stanford Neurodiversity Summit, which brings together individuals with neurodiversity, companies, educators, and researchers from around the world
and so on.
Another defining feature is its promotion of research activities through industry-academia collaboration, and
It's impressive that such prominent companies as OpenAI, Google, IBM, EY, Amazon, and Dell are participating as members or program partners.
This will be helpful for your activities in Japan.
Thank
you very much for the information.
