Thank You for Visiting: Change Tomorrow

Chomorrow—an exciting future just around the corner—so cool!

Thank you very much for coming!

Chomorrow started during the year of the pandemic.

We started out trying to figure out, “To what extent should we hold in-person events?” but,

This year, we discussed making it a year to “expand” Chomorrow, and we’ve already started taking action.

First, let's expand our territory!

In addition to the existing categories of “Learning,” “Sports,” “Comedy,” “Society,” “Research,” and “Entrepreneurship,” new fields have been added that depict an exciting future just around the corner, such as “Robotics,” “eSports,” “vocaloid,” “Gadgets,” and “Furry.”

Next, expanding the area.

Collaborations are emerging not only with Port City Takeshiba but also with the entire Takeshiba area, including The Waters Takeshiba, as well as with other regions such as Sapporo.

And then, the expansion of the timeline.

Rather than limiting our efforts to just these two days, we’ve been working toward our goal of “365 Days of Chomorrow,” which involves sharing content year-round, and have been rolling out initiatives such as “Mini Chomorrow” and “Mini-Mini Chomorrow” throughout the year.

Inspired by Chomorrow, the community of “Chomorrow Friends (Chomora)”—who are bringing the future to life—is growing, and

I would be delighted to work with all of you to shape a new way of life, a new community, and a new society.

    After graduating from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo, he served as a visiting researcher at the MIT Media Lab before founding the NPO CANVAS and the Learning of Tomorrow Association, a General Incorporated Association, and assuming the role of representative. He serves as an outside director for Matsuya Co., Ltd., Fuji Media Holdings, Inc., and Digital Garage, Inc.
    He has served on various government committees, including the Information and Communications Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, as well as the NHK Central Broadcasting Program Council. He also serves as a director of the Digital Signage Consortium, among other roles. He holds a Ph.D. in Policy and Media.
    His publications include *Turning On Children’s Creativity!*, *What Are Smart Kids Doing on Their Smartphones?*, *The Forefront of Online Education in Japan: Considering Learning in the Post-COVID Era*,“What Is Programming Education? 45 Questions Parents Want to Know,” and “Declaration on Digital Education.” He has also provided supervision for numerous works, including “Ah, I See! Programming Education for Parents and Children Through Manga.”
