Takafumi Horie & Kenji Shimizu, President of Fuji TV

A Lecture by Takafumi Horie and Fuji TV President Kenji Shimizu @iU.

Mr. Ebata will serve as the moderator. The theme is “The Future of Media and Co-creation with Society.”

This has already been covered in many articles, hasn't it?

And you can watch it all on FNN Prime Online!

I believe that engaging in ongoing dialogue with people who bring diverse perspectives is the first step toward better reform.

Before we began, I asked President Shimizu about “the secret to listening calmly to critical opinions and accepting them.” He is someone who perfectly embodies the phrase “master of dialogue.”

Although this strays slightly from the main topic, at the end of the session, a student asked a question about “starting a business in a rural area,” to which Mr. Horie proposed a combination of “Regional Revitalization Corps, AI, and the Hometown Tax Donation Program.”

My students are indeed working to revitalize rural areas by making full use of AI while taking advantage of the Regional Revitalization Corps program.

Half study, half exploration! For them, it’s also a field of research.

We hope to expand this initiative to other regions as well.

That’s another reason why I’d love to work with Mr. Horie!
