Professor Masaru Kitsuregawa

Dr. Masaru Kitsuregawa, Director of the Research Organization of Information and Systems (ROIS) and University Professor at the University of Tokyo.

When someone asked me, “What have you been up to lately?”

When I replied, “Still KMD (and now a snack bar hostess),”

Someone asked me, “Does KMD stand for the Kansai Manzai Federation?”

We got really excited talking about the unlikely idea of opening a second branch of “Snack” in Professor Kitsurekawa’s lab.

So, with all that going on, the Keio Graduate School of Media Design (KMD)—now known as the Kansai Manzai Alliance—is holding a faculty retreat today and tomorrow.
