On Saturday, June 22, we
held the event “Let’s Make Moist Potpourri Using Herbs from Our Garden: Let’s Find Fragrant Leaves and Flowers” 🍃

Do you know what herbs are? Some have a
nice scent, and others are used in cooking…

Let's see what kinds of herbs and fragrant plants are in Ark's garden.

I touch the leaves, bring my face close to the flowers, and try sniffing the scents of various plants.

"It smells good?? Hmm… Some of the kids look a little unsure.
" (It turns out that adults actually tend to like a lot of herbal scents.)

Since fresh plants will rot if you put them in potpourri,
you should only use dried Ark plants in potpourri.

Lavender, eucalyptus, thyme, rosemary…🌻

I'll make potpourri by combining scents that I think smell nice.

After a while,
once the scent starts to fade, you can put it in a tea bag and float it in the bath to enjoy!

The next GREENWORKSHOP will be held on Saturday, July 27, and is titled “Let’s Make Our Own Candles: Let’s create colorful candles using vegetable crayons and flowers and herbs picked from the garden.”

*We are pleased to welcome Ms. Naoko Kimura of mizuiro Co., Ltd. as a special guest.

Stay tuned✐✨
