We’re holding “The World in Our Minds 2024—Neurodiversity” again this year.
We’ve already received more applications to exhibit than we did last year, but we’re opening up the call for exhibitors to help spread the word about the neurodiversity movement!

As part of the Neurodiversity Project’s activities, we will hold the exhibition “The World in Our Minds 2024: Neurodiversity” on Saturday, October 12, and Sunday, October 13, 2024.
The human brain and nervous system are incredibly diverse, and each of us has our own unique characteristics.
This is called “neurodiversity.”
Through more than 40 hands-on activities, this exhibition conveys the message that by respecting each person’s unique characteristics and creating an appropriate environment, we can alleviate the “difficulties of daily life” and transform individual traits into “strengths.”
This project transcends organizational boundaries and is being advanced in collaboration with universities, companies, research institutes, and organizations. Through this exhibition, we aim to convey that it is possible to realize a neurodiverse society where everyone can reach their full potential, and we are working toward building such a society. We are also currently accepting applications from exhibitors for “The World in Our Minds 2024: Neurodiversity.”For more details, please review the application guidelines via the link below and submit your application using the form.

Chairperson, CANVASAfter graduating from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo, he served as a visiting researcher at the MIT Media Lab before founding the NPO CANVAS and the Learning of Tomorrow Association, a General Incorporated Association, and assuming the role of representative. He serves as an outside director for Matsuya Co., Ltd., Fuji Media Holdings, Inc., and Digital Garage, Inc.
He has served on various government committees, including the Information and Communications Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, as well as the NHK Central Broadcasting Program Council. He also serves as a director of the Digital Signage Consortium, among other roles. He holds a Ph.D. in Policy and Media.
His publications include *Turning On Children’s Creativity!*, *What Are Smart Kids Doing on Their Smartphones?*, *The Forefront of Online Education in Japan: Considering Learning in the Post-COVID Era*,“What Is Programming Education? 45 Questions Parents Want to Know,” and “Declaration on Digital Education.” He has also provided supervision for numerous works, including “Ah, I See! Programming Education for Parents and Children Through Manga.”
