[May 15] “Education in the Age of AI: A Constitutional Scholar’s Perspective”

This week’s Learning of Tomorrow Online Symposium is titled “Education in the Age of AI: A Constitutional Scholar’s Perspective.” We are pleased to welcome Professor Tatsuhiko Yamamoto from Keio University.

With the recent advancements in AI technology, the world is changing at a dizzying pace. In this era, we are being asked to consider the shifts in human values brought about by generative AI, its social impact, and how we should address the challenges it presents. What kind of people should we strive to nurture through school education?

We are pleased to welcome Mr. Yamamoto, a constitutional scholar who has conducted research on the right to privacy, AI, and big data, to speak about education in the AI era from a constitutional scholar’s perspective. We hope you will join us.

Professor Yamamoto’s book—which views the revolution currently underway not as an industrial revolution like the one that occurred 200 years ago, but as a spiritual revolution unlike any seen in 500 years, and provides a detailed analysis of the revolution brought about by AI from a constitutional perspective—is a must-read (*^^*)
