Last October, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) announced that it had selected 53 schools in 38 municipalities as pilot schools to test the use of generative AI in school settings. These pilot schools will work to streamline lessons and school administration using generative AI, while identifying effective practices and challenges associated with its integration into school settings.Iwanuma Kita Junior High School, designated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) as a “Leading DX School” and actively implementing the program, has been steadily achieving results, including receiving certification as a JAET “Advanced School for School IT” and being designated as a generative AI pilot school.
At this symposium, we will hear about practical approaches to incorporating generative AI into learning and school management. We hope you will join us.
