Survey on Global Trends in the Use of Generative AI in Education

The Learning of Tomorrow Data Working Group is conducting a survey on trends in the use of generative AI in education across various countries. (We plan to present our findings at an online symposium around December.)

According to the survey results below, on a global average, 42 percent believe the use of AI in schools should not be banned, while 29 percent believe it should be banned. In particular, France and Australia have a large number of people in favor of a ban, while Turkey and Malaysia show a strong tendency to oppose such a ban.

"Oh, there aren't many people in Japan who support a ban either!" I thought to myself happily, but what concerns me is that the percentage of people with an ambiguous stance is the highest!!!
