iU Fest

I went to the iU Fest.

Apparently, the president has (presumably on his own initiative) carried on Kyoto University’s “Tatekan” culture and designated iU as a “Tatekan Special Zone.”

"Prohibit Prohibitions!!!" This is reportedly a poster under Supervision by Norio Murakami of the Kumano Dormitory at Kyoto University, related to the 1960 Security Treaty protests.

The president, wearing a helmet, took this photo for me (*^^*)

At the iU Fest, I had tea with Katsuyuki Fuji—another of the Tatekan supervisors, a participant in the 1970 Security Treaty protests, and a former resident of the Komaba Dormitory at the University of Tokyo—and we reminisced about the good old days at the Komaba Dormitory ^^

The "President's Takoyaki—Kyoto-Style Tanuki Flavor," which is also part of the B Lab project, was delicious.

The yakisoba, 48-centimeter sausages, yakitori, grilled squid, sweet roasted sweet potatoes, and taho that the students prepared were all delicious.

But I'm so full!
