- [Video] “Toward an Education System in Japan That Leaves No One Behind Through New Forms of Collaboration Between ‘Online and In-Person’ and ‘Government, Schools, and the Private Sector’”
On January 11, 2023, the Learning of Tomorrow Association hosted an online symposium titled “Toward an Education System in Japan That Leaves No One Behind Through New Forms of Collaboration Between ‘Online and In-Person’ and ‘Government, Schools, and the Private Sector,’” featuring Kumi Imamura, Representative Director of the Certified NPO Katariba.
In the first half, Mr. Imamura began by giving a presentation on the current state of school refusal in Japan and Katariba’s initiatives, followed by an explanation of the details of “room-K”—Katariba’s online support program for students who refuse to attend school—by Mr. Tomotaka Segawa, the program’s project leader. In the second half, there was a question-and-answer session with the audience.
We have also published the reports.
