An article about the robot parade at Chomorrow.

I went to see the robot parade at "Chomorrow"! Here's a roundup of the unique robots that appeared in the parade.

"It's not hard to imagine that organizing a 'parade where children and robots walk together on public roads' required extremely difficult negotiations with the police and the local community."

That's right!

"Under the traditional 'big-company mindset,' a robot costume parade like this would have been difficult to pull off. Even something as simple as attaching a single piece of fabric to a robot for decoration leads to a constant increase in factors to consider, such as the load on the motors and changes in thermal characteristics.Given the risks involved, operating the robots in close proximity to children is also something that should be avoided. Public roads, where you never know what might happen, are also risky.”

That's right!!!

“For this event, we adopted the concept of ‘Content x Technology,’ treating technology not as something to be showcased on its own, but as something to be enjoyed in conjunction with content, such as through workshops. We incorporated advanced technology into the content as an element that allows visitors to experience it as “something that will likely be used in everyday life in the future,” presenting it in a way that stimulates the imagination of the general public. Wouldn’t you agree that this approach was perfectly suited for an event designed to give people a glimpse of an ‘exciting future just around the corner’?”

A nice comment.

Thank you very much (*^^*)
