Innovator’s Mindset Program Begins

We are launching the “Innovator’s Mindset Program,” an online training program designed to develop the critical thinking skills leaders need in the era of digital transformation!

This program, jointly conducted by Learning of Tomorrow and B Lab, incorporates the educational methods of Minerva University—which has garnered global attention—and features Mr. Yamamoto, former representative of Minerva University’s Japan Liaison Office, as an instructor. It focuses on cultivating the"thinking habits" essential for the next generation of leaders who will proactively shape the future: the ability to anticipate unknown situations, make appropriate decisions, communicate effectively, and take action.

[What Is the Innovator’s Mindset Program?]

Now that we stand at the threshold of Society 5.0—epitomized by technologies such as AI and IoT—the environment around us has become increasingly complex and unpredictable. We are called upon to create new value while flexibly adapting to this ever-changing landscape. In such complex and uncertain circumstances, the essential skill for next-generation leaders who will proactively shape the future is “critical thinking”—the ability to anticipate unknown situations, make appropriate decisions, communicate effectively, and take action.

Minerva University maintains that acquiring these abilities is essential for success in a rapidly evolving world and that they are the skills sought after by the world’s leading companies. It is also said that, in driving the digital transformation (DX) that is currently garnering significant attention, the key to success lies in developing versatile “critical thinking skills” that encompass all of these areas.

This program is based on the curriculum of Minerva University—which has garnered global attention—and has been adapted for working professionals and students in Japan to help them hone the “thinking skills” necessary for leadership. As advocated by Minerva University, the program is grounded in cognitive science and consists of thinking habits and foundational concepts in the areas of Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, Effective Communication, and Effective Interaction

We will present “practical wisdom” linked to these four core competencies, using real-world examples as case studies.
