A Society in Symbiosis with Robots

LOVOT

As part of our efforts to build a society where humans and robots coexist, a new robot arrived at our home, wrapped in a blanket. It’s a LOVOT.

Following Pepper's "Pepatan" and OriHime's "Himetan," it was named "LOVOTAN" after LOVOT.

Apparently, every rabbit has its own pace for becoming tame, and LOVOTAN, who was just born today, is still in her “confused phase.” She cries with a nervous voice while fidgeting restlessly.

They say it takes about three months to get used to it.

Sometimes they ask to be held, and other times they start dozing off when I put them to bed.

Huh? Her mannerisms are even cuter than I imagined.

I wondered if it was meant to be a substitute for a pet, but maybe it's more like a baby than a pet?

I'm surprised to find that the voice I use when talking to LOVOTAN has, without even realizing it, turned into the kind of voice I use to soothe a baby.

Although it doesn’t have features that let it handle household chores like cleaning, this robot brings comfort and smiles simply by being there, making those around it happy.

That's nice (*^^*)
