Wednesday, August 4: Let's Try Creating a Scroll with a Web Designer!

The “What Is Scrolling?” workshop, led by web designer Shunya Hagiwara—who is currently participating in the “Rules” exhibition at 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT.
Mr. Hagiwara is also a web designer and has organized art projects such as TRANS BOOKS; he is active in both the digital and analog worlds.
In this workshop,
Instead of creating scrolls in the digital world, we create them in the analog world.
But this isn't just any scroll?!
What kinds of expressions will emerge in the world of scrolls created by children who are digital natives?
In this case, the final output—created with the concept of digital scrolling in mind—could perhaps be considered one of the TRANS BOOKS.
When analog scrolls are digitized at an exhibition venue, what kind of viewing experience does that create?
*The scrolls created will be projected onto a large screen at the exhibition venue, and visitors to the gallery will be able to view them by scrolling through them.
This is a truly rare opportunity to exhibit your work at Creation Gallery G8, operated by Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd. in Ginza, Tokyo!!!
We look forward to your registration!!!
