- [Report] “Let’s Play with Machine Learning”
From
a CANVAS Facebook post*******************************************
In March, we held a programming workshop (program provided by OtOMO's Daisuke Kuramoto)!

Have you heard of machine learning?
"Learning with machines?"
"Programming?"

"Machines" are the ones that learn.
Do you know what AI is?
Today, I'm going to make a program that uses AI to create disguises~

■ “I’ll keep doing 〇〇”
Let's Start Programming with Scratch!
There's that "I'll keep doing XX forever" mindset, isn't there?
Humans can't be programmed, but…
If everyone were given the command to “keep doing XX,” what kind of command would you want?
Are you going to play games all night? …I can't sleep.
Are you going to keep eating snacks? … Where are the snacks?
Are you going to sleep the whole time? … I can't play.
What?
It's impossible for humans to "keep doing XX" forever, isn't it?
Even if you give the command "Make the cat keep getting bigger" in Scratch,
It's set up so that it stops when it reaches the edge of the stage.
If you're programming "do XX indefinitely" in another environment,
It's a pretty dangerous command because it never stops.
I can't even use it until I figure out how to stop it.
■Disguises with AI

A cat is rubbing up against my nose!
It'll follow you wherever you go~
Does this recognize faces even in photos of people?
What if it were a drawing?
What if it were a "thing" that looked like a face?
Why not try making an animal with your hands?
While conducting such experiments…

We each created a disguise program using AI.

Let's meet again someday!
