Our Secret Hideout: February Log.
On February 28, we held the event “The Mystery of Sprouting: Did the Seeds Sprout? Or Not?”
This edition of "Haten?" is a presentation on the question, "Can plants sprout without soil?"
Sponges, cotton, coffee, nori… and so on—I planted seeds in the items I thought might sprout, and 20,
It's been two weeks—I wonder how things turned out? Did everyone's predictions come true??
Even if you plant the same seeds in the same spot, the results vary—some sprout, some don't!
Where did you put it? In a sunny spot? A dark spot? Or a warm spot? How much water did you give it?
I asked my friends about their results—which I was curious about—and gave it some thought!

And another question I have this time is, “Will seeds sprout in liquids other than water?”
One of the key conditions for sprouting is "water."
Will the seeds not sprout unless I use water?
This time, I'm keeping it simple with an experiment using salt water and sugar water!
How much salt or sugar do I need to add for the seeds to sprout (or not to sprout)?
I made some water while thinking about it, and gave it to the seeds.
This time, I’d love it if you could think about each one on your own and take your time observing them!

His publications include *Turning On Children’s Creativity!*, *What Are Smart Kids Doing on Their Smartphones?*, *The Forefront of Online Education in Japan: Considering Learning in the Post-COVID Era*,“What Is Programming Education? 45 Questions Parents Want to Know,” and “Declaration on Digital Education.” He has also provided supervision for numerous works, including “Ah, I See! Programming Education for Parents and Children Through Manga.”
