- [Announcement] “The Further Potential of VR as a Tool for Unlocking One’s True Abilities”
Today’s Learning of Tomorrow Online Lunch Symposium, the second installment in our “VR × Education” series, features Associate Professor Takushi Narumi from the University of Tokyo.
Professor Narumi is conducting research on “five-sense interfaces,” which utilize VR to artificially recreate not only sight and hearing but all five human senses, thereby enabling a wider variety of simulated experiences. He is also engaged in research exploring how experiencing the lives of others through VR can change people’s ways of thinking and behavior. Both areas of research are attracting attention as they significantly expand the potential applications of VR.
We’re pleased to have Professor Narumi, who is conducting research with the goal of real-world implementation, join us to discuss the future potential of VR. We hope you’ll join us.
