[Membership Registration Now Open] “Rough & Peace Mother”

Based on the concept of “Play and Learning,” the app “Rough & Peace Mother”—which offers a wide variety of content that values what children “want to do”—is now accepting pre-registrations!

Rough & Peace Mother is a service you can use as a foster parent to fully embrace all of your children’s “likes” and “motivation” and help them move forward toward the future they envision.

We offer a wide variety of content, including over 500 “Movies” designed to foster a broad range of curiosity, as well as innovative “Touch Movies” where the story changes when you tap to make a choice, and more than 20 “Apps” that help children develop various skills, such as math, language arts, and programming.

In addition, we offer online classes taught by experts in education, athletes, celebrities, and comedians, allowing students to choose and participate in classes across a variety of genres that help them develop “life skills” not typically taught in school. These classes make learning fun, support children’s “ability to learn,” and we will continue to introduce new content that helps them discover what they love.

To celebrate the launch of our service, we will be holding events and online classes over two days—Saturday, March 20, and Sunday, March 21—featuring popular Yoshimoto comedians such as Natsuko Yokozawa, Naomi Watanabe, and Yuriyan Retriever, as well as numerous video creators who are currently all the rage and hugely popular with children.

    After graduating from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo, he served as a visiting researcher at the MIT Media Lab before founding the NPO CANVAS and the Learning of Tomorrow Association, a General Incorporated Association, and assuming the role of representative. He serves as an outside director for Matsuya Co., Ltd., Fuji Media Holdings, Inc., and Digital Garage, Inc.
    He has served on various government committees, including the Information and Communications Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, as well as the NHK Central Broadcasting Program Council. He also serves as a director of the Digital Signage Consortium, among other roles. He holds a Ph.D. in Policy and Media.
    His publications include *Turning On Children’s Creativity!*, *What Are Smart Kids Doing on Their Smartphones?*, *The Forefront of Online Education in Japan: Considering Learning in the Post-COVID Era*,“What Is Programming Education? 45 Questions Parents Want to Know,” and “Declaration on Digital Education.” He has also provided supervision for numerous works, including “Ah, I See! Programming Education for Parents and Children Through Manga.”
