Platinum Vision School

Today, I gave a talk at the Platinum Initiative School for local government employees. This is part of the activities of the Platinum Initiative Network, led by Hiroshi Komiyama, former president of the University of Tokyo, who is currently contributing to the Nikkei Shimbun’s “My Resume” series.

It’s been a while since I’ve spoken in front of a live audience.
I’m keeping a strict social distance—so much so that you might wonder if I’m keeping too much distance.
(The photo shows last year’s event, which was packed, as featured in the brochure.)

*By the way, according to an email I received today from Professor Komiyama, it seems people are talking about “Learning of Tomorrow” all over the place, and the concept is gradually gaining traction. I’m so happy!
