KMD KMD Policy Online Class: Guest Lecturer Hiroto Fujii, Former Mayor of Minokamo City KMD Policy Class.
Today, we invited Mr. Hiroto Fujii—who, at the time, was elected mayor of Minokamo as the youngest person ever to hold the office—as a guest lecturer.
We listened to him talk about his eventful life and discussed questions such as “What is politics?” and “What is public administration?” Since students are asked to post their questions on Slack, I feel that the act of putting their thoughts into words helps them organize their ideas, resulting in higher-quality questions than in in-person lectures.
Hearing Mr. Fujii’s passionate commitment to education has inspired me to work with him on concrete initiatives in the future.
