Book Cover Challenge 4

Since Professor Takeo Doi—who has been so incredibly helpful to me—kindly passed the baton to me, I’m posting a book cover. I love picture
books and have just started creating Digital Ehon picture books, so I’m sticking to the picture book theme.

On the fourth day,
“Spring Has Come.” The adults were getting impatient with the spring that just wouldn’t arrive. But then the little boy suggested,
“Why do we have to wait for spring? Let’s not just wait—let’s turn our town into spring ourselves!”
It’s a picture book I find myself wanting to pick up again right now.

The rules are: “Post one of your favorite books every day for seven days. Upload just an image of the book cover—without any description—and invite one Facebook friend each day to join this challenge.”
I’d like to connect with all the picture book authors I’m friends with on Facebook. Since I’ll be mentioning your names without asking while introducing your work,
if you happen to see this post and think, “Maybe I’ll give this a try,” please do.

So, on Day 4, it’s Sanae Kosugi.
My absolute favorite among Sanae Kosugi’s works is *The Princess Who Loves the Number 5*.
I also love Michiko Tachimoto’s illustrations, and I actually asked Ms. Tachimoto to design the pamphlet for the workshop I collaborated on with Future Architect.
I’d met Sanae Kosugi at events like CANVAS and Yuichi Kimura’s parties, but I recently discovered that our current projects are actually very similar! She’s a picture book author I’m really hoping to collaborate with more in the future (*^^*)
