[Report] KAAT Kids Summer Party

From a CANVAS Facebook post

*******************************************
The KAAT Kids Summer Party, held at the Kanagawa Arts Theater Grand Studio, has come to a close. CANVAS assisted with the planning and coordination.
We wanted to create a performance that wasn’t just fun to watch, but one where the audience could participate.
We wanted families who aren’t usually familiar with the theater to enjoy the experience as well.
With these thoughts in mind, this event was launched last year. Just like last year, we were delighted to welcome a truly large number of children and their families this year as well. We were deeply moved to hear comments like, “We came last year and had so much fun!” The second campsite, which debuted this year, was bustling every day, and we hope everyone was able to enjoy the theater experience throughout the entire day.

On the spacious lawn, children and adults lay down together and jumped along to the music. We’d be delighted if this 90-minute “one-night, two-day camping experience” inside the theater became one of your wonderful memories from Golden Week.
See you all again at the next party!
