From a Facebook post by Learning of Tomorrow

*******************************************

We’ve published a report on our blockchain workshop and ideathon!
This report covers the workshop held at the Learning of Tomorrow Expo on December 1.

The first half provided an overview of blockchain, while the second half featured an ideathon with participants on the educational applications of blockchain.

The instructor was Kazuyasu Komiya, a member of the Learning of Tomorrow Association and
Vice President of Keymakers, a blockchain developer community.

Aiming to promote the widespread adoption of blockchain in society, he is actively involved as a developer, researcher, and instructor, and
is currently enrolled in the Graduate School of Media Design at Keio University.

In the first half of the session, he focused on the following key points:
・Why blockchain is attracting attention
 – Expectations for its economic value
・Why blockchain is a tamper-proof system
 – Economic rules based on consensus algorithms
・What are the characteristics of blockchain, and how does it drive economic change?
 – Application of the system to matching markets

In this report, we’ll share details of the ideathon held in the second half, broken down by group!
Please take a look.
