U-22 Programming Contest & National Elementary and Junior High School Programming Competition (JJPC) Joint Finals, Awards Ceremony, and Reception

Today was the joint finals, awards ceremony, and reception for the U-22 Programming Contest and the National Elementary and Junior High School Programming Competition (JJPC).
As a judge for U-22 and a member of the JJPC organizing committee, I was running back and forth between the two contests and had such a hectic time that I didn’t take any photos of the JJPC…
The biggest surprise of the day was that in the U-22 contest, elementary school students took first and second place—based on both the judges’ evaluations and the NicoNico Live voting. Elementary school students in a contest for those 22 and under!
But it’s also interesting that a different student won the Grand Prize at the JJPC.
Last year, I served as a U22 judge for the first time, and after experiencing the warm, thoughtful, and passionate organization by the U22 judges, executive committee members, and secretariat staff,
which made me want to collaborate with the JJPC. However,
when I saw a community forming at the reception among the children who had participated in both competitions, I was glad we were able to hold them jointly (*^^*)
I’ll refrain from posting the photos I’m so proud of—the ones I asked those award-winning kids to pose for with me…
Congratulations to all the award winners!
Thank you to everyone involved, and thank you for all your hard work.
