- Meeting of the Legislative Working Group of the Bipartisan Parliamentary League on Education and ICT
This morning, I attended a meeting of the legislative working group of the Bipartisan Parliamentary League on Education ICT. The topic was the “Bill to Promote the Digitalization of School Education.”
Recently, amendments to the School Education Act and related laws—which DiTT has been advocating for since 2012—were passed and enacted, officially recognizing “digital textbooks” as legitimate textbooks.
The “Bill to Promote the Digitalization of School Education,” a member-sponsored bill aimed at being submitted and enacted during this session of the Diet, is designed to support the digitalization of education as a whole.
While I found myself thinking that the process of drafting legislation really does involve programming-like thinking,
the passionate discussions among the bipartisan group of lawmakers gave me a real boost of energy first thing this morning (*^^*)
