Programming Education Events Commemorating Disability Awareness Week: “Sumida Smile Festival: Exciting Cultural Festival” From a CANVAS Facebook post
*******************************************
Today, Saturday, December 3, we’ll be holding the “Programming Through Drawing! Biscuit Workshop” at
the Hikifune Library booth during the “Sumida Smile Festival: Waku Waku Cultural Festival,” an event commemorating Disability Awareness Week!
At the booth, we’ll also be showcasing books that offer a variety of ways to enjoy them, such as books with large, easy-to-read text,
pop-up picture books, and e-books that read stories aloud. Feel free to
pick them up and explore!
At the Biscuit workshop, we'll create animations using the characters everyone draws. Let's draw an aquarium filled with sea creatures on a
big screen,
or create a Christmas-themed world!
You can join anytime between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM!
* The experience lasts about 30 minutes. The maximum number of participants per session is 15.
The event also features plenty of other fun activities!
Everyone is welcome to join!
Please come and join us!
