Good Design Award Celebration & Grand Prize Selection Event

Today was the Good Design Award Celebration and Grand Prize Selection Ceremony.

The Grand Prize went to the “Orsagraph World Map,” a world map projection. Congratulations!
The Orsagraph World Map is a square world map that presents an accurate view of the entire globe with minimal distortion in size and shape.
It creates a new world map that replaces the Mercator projection,
offering a fresh perspective on how we view the world’s structure and history.

There’s a system where each judge selects one favorite entry,
and the one I chose was “KOOV.”
KOOV was also nominated for the Grand Prize; although it narrowly missed winning that honor, it proudly took home the Gold Prize.
The Good Design Award Exhibition starts today!
