To Members of the Press
Thank you very much for your continued support.
NPO CANVAS (6th Floor, Kase Building, 2-5-12 Kotobuki, Taito-ku, Tokyo / Representative: Nanako Ishido; hereinafter “CANVAS”) has launched a 5-part interactive exhibition series fusing science, technology, and art, to be held from June 2016 through March 2017 at the Shibuya Ward Children’s Science Center “Hachi Lab”
(3rd Floor, Owada Cultural Center, 23-21 Sakuragaoka-cho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter “Hachi Lab”).
a series of five experiential exhibits that fuse science, technology, and art.
As part of HachiLab’s annual exhibition series, to help children develop an interest in science while having fun,
we will collaborate with media artists who create works spanning art and science,
professional naturalists who showcase the curious forms of everyday creatures,
and engineers who use digital technology to bring everyone’s “wish list” to life, among others, to create exhibits that allow visitors to explore the wonders of science.
Through hands-on exhibits and workshops, we aim to help more children explore their imagination and ways of thinking,
and provide them with experiences that bring their creativity and ideas to life.
