◆Information on the Children’s Media Lab◆
Children and Architecture: Starts Friday, April 22 at 1:00 PM!
The “Children’s Media Lab” series offers a comprehensive exploration of the relationship between children and media.
The theme for the 11th session is “Children and Architecture 2.”
We are pleased to welcome Ms. Mikiko Endo, representative of office mikiko (First-Class Architect Office) and representative director of the General Incorporated Association Mother Architecture, as our guest!
She designed the studio set for the NHK Educational TV program “Peek-a-Boo!”
She created the spatial design for the “Doraemon’s Science Future Exhibition” at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan).
The special exhibition “Ouenyama: Playing on a Giant Blackboard” at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo.
Ms. Endo has designed numerous public cultural and commercial facilities, creating spaces that delight both adults and children.
Active on the global stage and transcending the boundaries of the traditional architect’s role, what inspires Ms. Endo? What values does she hold dear, and what kind of works does she continue to bring to the world? We’ll explore the appeal of Ms. Endo, who is energetically active not only in the fields of architecture and design but also across national borders and cultures.
We look forward to seeing you there!
