Judge Rika Kayama (psychiatrist) commented, “Children come to realize that even scary monsters possess the same kindness they do, as well as a love for friends and nature. It’s a Digital Ehon that broadens children’s potential and nurtures their ability to empathize with others.” Fellow judge Tomoyuki Sugiyama (President of Digital Hollywood University) commented: “I found the idea interesting—once you acquire a part, it replaces the part that was originally attached to the same body part.Since there is no predetermined story, it seems you’ll be able to travel the world while creating your own story as you go.”
A list of the winning entries for the 4th Digital Ehon Awards is available on the official website.
