[After-School Creative Project]
On Wednesday, October 22, we held a workshop at Wakuwaku Yoiwa Hiroba!
In the hope of bringing workshop creators’ programs to as many children as possible,
we also offer the programs they’ve developed at our after-school centers.
Today’s workshop features the “Solar Ball” program provided by Chemical Entertainment.
We made “Solar Balls” that glow in the dark by storing energy from the fluorescent lights in the classroom and the dazzling sun outside.
At the end, they drew their own unique marks with markers, making the project even more special!
They discovered all kinds of light both indoors and outdoors, and it seems they went home with “seeds” of curiosity—wondering things like, “Does the Solar Ball glow differently depending on the color of the light or the temperature inside the house?” We’re looking forward to seeing the experiments they continue
at home.
The photos show just a few examples of the creative ideas the children worked so hard to come up with.
*About
the After-School Creative Project: To enrich the after-school experiences of many children, we conduct workshops at after-school facilities designed to nurture children’s creativity and imagination.
