- A Practical Guide to Programming Education
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) has released a “Practical Guide to Programming Education” to promote programming education at the elementary and secondary school levels.
This resource compiles and shares practical examples related to the basics of programming and algorithms—which logically outline the steps for solving problems using computers—to serve as a reference for those who are just starting out or are unsure how to proceed. It showcases a variety of practical examples—including those from PEG partners—from “Integrated Learning” classes in
elementary school, Technology and Home Economics classes in junior high school, and the “Information” course (a common subject) in high school. Please be sure to take a look!
