<Find the Raspberry Pi!>
The other day, the “Children’s Science Exploration Team” event, organized by the Kitagawa Seminar—a PEG partner at Sanno University in Isehara City, Kanagawa Prefecture—was held at Sanno University.
We were provided with a report on how the event went.
This year’s expedition theme was “Make It Yourself, Play It Yourself JOY!!—Create It Yourself, Play It Yourself!”
Believe it or not, the workshop began with the kids having to find hidden Raspberry Pi units and the necessary components!
First, they tackled a quiz that, once solved, revealed the hiding spots! (Apparently, the quiz itself was created using Scratch.)
After retrieving the equipment hidden in various places—including on walls and in the library—the children successfully created their own games using Scratch.
A wide variety of creative adaptations emerged, and the final presentation session was a huge hit.
