[Media] PEG Featured on an NHK WORLD News Program!

Yesterday, I was still dealing with jet lag, and since “Tokudane!” was on in the morning,
before I knew it, I had fallen asleep that night…

That’s why this announcement is a bit late, but
yesterday, the programming education promotion project “PEG” was featured on NHK WORLD’s news program “Newsline.”
I’ve heard that NHK WORLD broadcasts 24 hours a day in about 130 countries and regions around the world.
The program aired an interview with Mr. Dobashi from CANVAS, who leads PEG, as well as an interview with Professor Kazuhiro Abe, a CANVAS Fellow and lecturer at Aoyama Gakuin University, who serves as PEG’s supervisor.
Koto Yamauchi, the middle school programmer who’s been attracting a lot of attention, was clearly visible in the footage.
It will reportedly be available online for a while, so be sure to check it out.
