[September 11 Event] “Initiatives at Re Gakuin, an Online Correspondence School for Students with Developmental Disabilities and Gifted Students”

This week's Learning of Tomorrow Online Symposium is titled "Initiatives at Re Gakuin, an Online Correspondence School for Students with Developmental Disabilities and Gifted Students."

Re Gakuin is scheduled to open in October 2024 as Japan’s first integrated middle and high school online correspondence school specializing in students with developmental disabilities (LD, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder) and gifted students (2E).

The middle school division operates as a free school, while the high school division functions as a correspondence support school in partnership with Yashu Gakuen University International High School, enabling students to earn a high school diploma. We aim to create a diverse and inclusive society where no one is disadvantaged in their educational pursuits due to individual characteristics, where everyone can make a fresh start, and where anyone can resume their studies at any time.

At this symposium, we will hear about the background leading to the establishment of Re Academy, its unique features, and its curriculum. We hope you will join us.
