■ What Is the Innovator’s Mindset Program? As we stand at the threshold of Society 5.0—epitomized by technologies such as
AI and IoT—the environment surrounding us has become increasingly complex and unpredictable. We are now required to create new value while flexibly adapting to this ever-changing landscape. In such complex and uncertain circumstances, the essential ability for next-generation leaders who will proactively shape the future is “critical thinking”—the ability to anticipate unknown situations, make appropriate decisions, communicate effectively, and take action.
Minerva University maintains that mastering these abilities is essential for success in a rapidly evolving world and represents the skills sought by the world’s leading companies. Even in the current push for digital transformation (DX), which is attracting significant attention, it is said that the key to success lies in acquiring versatile “thinking skills” that encompass all areas of expertise.
This program is based on the curriculum of Minerva University—which has garnered global attention—and has been adapted for Japanese working professionals and students to hone the “thinking skills” necessary for leadership. As advocated by Minerva University, the program is structured around thinking habits and foundational concepts grounded in cognitive science.
