#Notice to Kid Researchers
Workshops at the Kids Creative Institute starting in April 2022,

The Kids Creative Institute is a place where “feeling, thinking, creating, and communicating” flourish,
This is a series of workshops aimed at creating centers for children's play and learning.

We will provide a variety of experiences to all children across Japan and around the world.
The workshop is being held right where everyone is right now.
Through workshops that involve making things and conducting experiments using everyday items,
Our goal is for everyone’s daily lives to be enriched and transformed through their own “exploration.”
[A Museum Just for Kids]
—Exhibition of Objects, Materials, and Tools—
April 2022–March 2023 / Once a month / One-time participation (Mixed class for preschoolers and elementary school students)
The “Museum Just for Kids” is a little different from other Kids’ Creative Institutes.
There are about 70 different types of materials and various tools available, and you have 90 minutes to work with.
The children are free to decide how to use the materials, tools, and time.
Think it through carefully, then give it a try. Once you've made it, think about it some more.
We'll spend 90 minutes carefully crafting it while trying out various ideas.
○ We'll begin accepting online registrations for the workshop starting in February!

Chairperson, CANVASAfter graduating from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo, he served as a visiting researcher at the MIT Media Lab before founding the NPO CANVAS and the Learning of Tomorrow Association, a General Incorporated Association, and assuming the role of representative. He serves as an outside director for Matsuya Co., Ltd., Fuji Media Holdings, Inc., and Digital Garage, Inc.
He has served on various government committees, including the Information and Communications Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, as well as the NHK Central Broadcasting Program Council. He also serves as a director of the Digital Signage Consortium, among other roles. He holds a Ph.D. in Policy and Media.
His publications include *Turning On Children’s Creativity!*, *What Are Smart Kids Doing on Their Smartphones?*, *The Forefront of Online Education in Japan: Considering Learning in the Post-COVID Era*,“What Is Programming Education? 45 Questions Parents Want to Know,” and “Declaration on Digital Education.” He has also provided supervision for numerous works, including “Ah, I See! Programming Education for Parents and Children Through Manga.”
