"The 6th Digital Ehon Award" to Be Held—Submissions Now Open!

The International Digital Ehon Fair Executive Committee (Taito Ward, Tokyo) will be hosting the
“6th Digital Ehon Award.”
Submissions will be accepted starting Friday, June 22, 2018.

With the aim of discovering and promoting high-quality digital Ehon books that nurture children’s creativity,
The Digital Ehon Award, which has been held since 2012, marks its sixth edition this year.
The 5th Award, held in 2017, received approximately 300 entries from 32 countries around the world,
and has grown into an international award.Additionally, starting with the 5th Awards, we introduced the Kids Award,
making it an awards program that caters to a wide range of age groups.

Through this awards program—which serves as a gateway to success for Digital Ehon creators—
we aim to explore new possibilities for “Digital Ehon,” a genre set to gain even more momentum in the future,
and to pioneer and advance digital expression techniques.

We understand you are very busy, but we hope you will understand the purpose of this event,
and we would greatly appreciate it if you could publicize it through your media outlets and
cover the event on the day of the ceremony.
