- 2045: An Ideathon on the Future of Learning
[2045: Ideathon on the Future of Learning]
We’re hosting an ideathon where adults and children will explore future learning methods using digital technology in 2045 from their own unique perspectives! The ideas
generated will be used by the Digital Textbook and Teaching Materials Council (DiTT) to shape its vision for the future.
What will learning look like in 2045?
We’ll study together with robots, learning from and teaching each other;
school desks and home study desks will be connected, so we won’t need to carry textbooks around anymore—
schools themselves might even disappear… Now that
digital technology makes it easy to access information,
it’s said that by 2045, robots (artificial intelligence) will surpass human capabilities.
What would learning in the future have to be
like to make you want to learn even more?
What kind of classroom would be fun?
What kinds of tools would make studying easier?
Let’s
share your ideas—the things you think, “It would be great if it were like this!”—with the adults!
