[After-School Creative Project]
On Wednesday, June 11, we held a “Futo Matryoshka” workshop at the Koto Kids Club Ichikame!

"Envelopes"—the kind we usually use to send letters.
This time, I created a magical picture book by nesting envelopes of different sizes inside one another like matryoshka dolls, so that a story emerges from within.
What’s inside the envelope inside the envelope inside yet another envelope?

Using the paper bag as a canvas, the children drew with crayons, pens, and stickers. Some children made good use of the
brown background and skillfully incorporated white crayon.
Some children watered flower buds to make them bloom; others depicted the process of a dinosaur hatching from an egg; and still others collected summer “circles” to make a fan pop out of a watermelon—the art room was filled with these captivating worlds.
