Sumidaya Samachi 15 Animation

The “Sumida Yasashii Machi 15” animation—featuring characters drawn by children that talk and move—is now complete! Since Heisei 12,
Sumida Ward has upheld the “Sumida Yasashii Machi Declaration,” a community pledge calling on residents and workers alike to join forces in creating a town that is kind to people, the community, and the environment, and has outlined 15 specific action guidelines.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of the “Sumida Kind City Declaration.”
To celebrate, we invited children to submit designs for 15 characters to promote these 15 action guidelines, and the children themselves brought these characters to life through animation.
Please take a look.
