MAKER KIDS LABは、様々なテクノロジーを使って、普段とちょっとちがう「つくる」体験を提供する場。
LEDの光を使ったお絵かき、電気の通るねんどでつくる造形作品、３Dプリント技術を使ったオリジナル作品づくりなど、プログラムはさまざま。
MAKER KIDS LABには、クレヨンや画用紙、ハサミやノリなど、見慣れた素材や道具から、最新のテクノロジーを活用した道具まで、さまざまなツールがこどもたちのために準備してあります。
アナログとデジタル、アートとテクノロジーが融合された新しいものづくりの体験をたくさんのこどもたちに届けてていきたいと思っています。
第1回目は東芝未来科学館にて、3つのワークショッププログラムを実施しました！
今後、MAKER KIDS LABでは、ワークショップ・イベント・ハンズオン展示・学校の授業など、その場に合わせた様々な形で体験をご提供していきたいと思っております。

We started a new project “MAKER KIDS LAB”.

MAKER KIDS LAB will offer children with somewhat different “making” experiences with various kinds of technologies.
MAKER KIDS LAB provides children with various tools and materials, from familiar materials such as crayons, drawing papers, scissors, and glues to the latest technologies.

We want to create and deliver new making experiences with the combinations of analog and digital, art and technology to various
children.
As the first trial, three workshops were held at Toshiba future Science Museum.
We’d like to provide a various types of activities such as workshops, events, hand-on exhibitions and classes at schools through MAKER KIDS LAB in the future.
